The 967c 3D shows wide areas of the bottom in 3D shaded relief and your position on detailed digital charts, all on a high resolution 8" display wide enough to see both views simultaneously.
3D PLUS uses six separate beams to analyze the contour and shape of the bottom for an exceptional on-screen 3D display clearly depicting bottom structure and drop-offs. The six beams provide 53º of continuous coverage up to 240 feet deep. New 3D systems actually measure depth between the beams for a total of 11 discrete depths. With the outstanding look at the bottom, you can see things in one pass, such as creek bed, drop-offs and more, that normally would take three to four passes to view with traditional sonar.
